Ben Akwuegbu FC's victory was never in doubt in this encounter from the blast of the whistle as they totally dominated proceedings for the entire duration time and established themselves as one of the dominant forces of the NLO DIV 1 Jos Center.

It took just 10 minutes for the Akwuegbu side to go in front thanks to a brilliant finish from Panshak Shwankop.

They doubled their lead in the 34th minute through Dayo Ojulari who rounded the goalkeeper before slotting the ball into an empty net to end the first half strongly at 2-0.

Mafeng FC did threaten to get back into the game in the early stages of the second half after making some changes but Akwuegbu's defence set up remained resolute in keeping them at bay.

Tongshinen Dakup put the game to bed for Ben Akwuegbu FC in the 85th minute with a clinical finish to wrap up a fantastic win which will establish them as one of the dominant forces of the competition.

Coach Joshua Zira and his technical crew will be proud of their team's journey so far even if they fail to gain promotion to the next level.
